Chocolate Avocado Mousse
Try it! I call it chocolate mousse but it’s pretty much like pudding too. :-)
I eyeball my ingredients every time, but I'd say my guess on amounts is pretty spot on here.
*Note: this makes yummy frozen fudge bars as well with the addition of 1/2- 1 cup plant milk
Here’s the recipe for chocolate ‘mousse’ that's heart healthy and incredibly divine:
Chocolate Avocado Mousse
Ingredients
- 2 big avocados
- 1/4-1/3 cup cocoa or raw cacao powder (depends on how chocolatey you like things)
- 1/2 tsp favorite sea salt (totally optional)
- 3/4 cup maple syrup OR your favorite natural sweetener (we really love using our homemade date syrup for this)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract or 1/4 tsp vanilla bean powder
Instructions
- That's it! Blend all ingredients together in your blender or food processor until smooth!
