Breakfast Oatmeal
This is the most simplistic yet satisfying way to start the day and it’s similar to what we eat every morning.
The addition of the Blueberry Chia Preserves takes this everyday breakfast up another level.
I want to keep this short and sweet just like the recipe, so here it is.
Breakfast Oatmeal
Ingredients
- Breakfast Oatmeal
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 5 cups water
- 1 Tbs flax meal
- Blueberry Chia Preserves
- Cinnamon (up to a tsp)
Instructions
- Heat the oats, water, cinnamon, and flax meal on medium on the stovetop in a stainless steel pot until warmed through and as creamy as you want. It takes about 5-8 minutes to cook however there are no rules to the doneness of oats. You can eat them as raw or cooked as you want. Top with your favorite fruit, nut butter, or the preserves pictured above, and enjoy a hearty and satisfying way to start the day!
